Linda A. B. Miller
Founder, CEO, & Chief Brand Alchemist of
Hamptons Creative Group
If you gathered all of Linda’s clients into one room and asked the question, “Who is Linda Miller?” you would hear answers like “conscious connector,” “brand alchemist,” “marketing concierge” and “business shaman.” As founder and CEO of Hamptons Creative Group, Linda is known for her out-of-this world insight and intuitive approach to helping businesses and organizations find their stories, promote their brand, and create sustainable success through marketing, advertising and special events.
Her high-powered marketing experience started in the 1970’s when she became one of the first women to join the Goldman, Sachs Marketing Team in New York City. For 18 years she worked with the movers, the shakers and the millionaire makers. Many of her co-workers at Goldman, Sachs continue to be her mentors and life-long friends.
Then, one summer, Linda spent a summer in Southampton, and fell in love with the serenity and charm of this Long Island community. She left her fast-paced corporate life, moved to Southampton and started her own publishing empire, Miller Publishing Group, with her brother Jim. The company quickly became known for publishing award-winning real estate magazines for the Hamptons, Manhattan and Long Island’s North Fork. Their signature publication, Homes of the Hamptons, set a new standard for niche publications and became the leading real estate publication for the Hamptons’ area.
In 2004, a well-known media giant made Linda and her brother an offer too good to refuse, and they sold their publishing company. Almost instantly, entrepreneurs, artists, businesses and organizations hounded her to help them with their marketing strategy, branding and promotion. She immediately realized that the best way for her to be of service to her community was to open her own ‘boutique’ marketing agency. In 2009, she launched Hamptons Creative Group, which quickly became the go-to marketing agency in the Hamptons area.
“While I love so many aspects of this business, I revel in connecting people with one another,” says Linda. “For me, the joy of business is in personal relationships, listening to people’s stories, hearing what they need and want, and then connecting them up with the resources, expertise and people who can make it all happen. What fun!”
An advocate and champion of economic and social justice causes, Linda devotes her free time to local charities and cultural organizations like Parrish Art Museum, Joshua’s Place, Have A Heart Community Trust, Relay for Life South Fork, and All For the East End (AFTEE), as well as Chambers of Commerce and BNI (Business Network International).
Recently, she co-authored the book “Ignite Your Business, Transform Your World,” in which she shares how she helps her clients discover their power of purpose through branding, marketing and connecting planet-wide. Presently, Linda lives on the waterfront of Southampton with her beloved dogs, Lulu and Scout.
